Use text mode for Week 1. These links open services for your browser session. The lab addresses come from the deployment configuration, so the same page works on any host that runs the lab.

The browser terminal is the primary text-mode path for commands and evidence.
The optional graphical desktop runs Kali. Its canvas is outside the courseware accessibility target.
This shell links to existing labs. It cannot create a session, reserve a slot, or restore a workspace. Those controls open with the app plane.
Follow the scope note for your assigned lab before executing commands.
